Awoke in a field again hahaha funny how that seems
to keep happening!!!!, got out to check out the scene, seemed like a cool
place for sure, our friends from Florida are here today, emmily and brian,
they have stayed in touch since moving to indy, so its cool to see them
today, it has been a long time!!! it was hot as s*** today that’s for sure,
we had a total blast playing today, it was a very juiced up crowd for all
the bands, during our set many women were in a ...well a flashing mood,
it was a virtual boob fest, props to those beautiful women for sharing
that with NEUROTICA.
as soon as we were finished it started storming
like crazy, luckily we had gotten the equipment put away, the people were
really digging the rain, but the lightning was crazy!!!, the pits were
extra good today due to the rain, makes for a nice mud pit, while at the
fye signing, we ran into Dave and the boys from drowning pool, we have
been running into and becoming friends with these guys while out here on
the tour, they were where we are last year, and I think Dave has been really
cool to us, he was the only one that came to see us on the mainstage appearance
we had in Columbus, he came running up the ramp as we were heading for
the stage and said, LETS GO CHANGE SOME LIVES FOREVER BOYS!!! I thought
that was so cool!! we got some cool pics over at www.sikkrikk.com check
them out!!!! any how, I told Dave that BODIES was gonna be off the hook
cause of the mud and s***, I told him I would be there!! after the set
at the jager tent, we knew we had a day off so I personally thought after
my daily shot from the jager tent before signing, I would have another
and then a beer, and so on and so on, I soon found myself with jager horns
on my head, like deer antlers or some s***, I also found this amazing leaf
on the ground, very unlike any leaf that we would see in Florida, so of
course being hammered on jager, I proceeded to stick the leaf in my antlers
which was over my black hat, , my mom was here as well today along with
my 3 cousins, I had not seen them in many years, we met this cool little
girl over at the booth as well, she gave us a little blue stuffed animal
named LYRIC and she asked us to keep it with us at all times, so LYRIC
now sits at the front of the bus, right in the window! After lunch I was
just cruising around in a drunken stupor, no not really , but I was very
buzzed for the first time on the tour from alcohol anyway!!
I was having a great time, I saw kelso at the jager
tent along with Dave from dp, I was in that kind of mood, so I asked him
if I could jump up and do CREEPING DEATH , he said “Man my stage is an
open door” so hopefully before the end of the tour I will get my punk ass
up to do it, I hate to intrude on someone else’s stage you know?? We did
a shot of jager together, snapped some pics with the jager girls, and then
kelso said we needed to do a radio interview with x103 I think it was,
we met Steve from that station and he hooked it up so I went over to the
media section, met the guy from the station, and he was sort of...well
acting as though I did not know what was up, like I wasreally drunk which
was not really the case, it was a weird vibe, he said do you know that
you have antlers on your head???, I said YES!!!!, I AM HAVING THE TIME
OF MY LIFE MY FRIEND!!!
After we were done, I watched drowning pool from
the front row, they were about half way through there set, the crowd was
thick at the mainstage today, some cities it takes a while for the crowd
to fill in over at the main stage cause people just f***ing mull around
the village of the damned until zombie comes on! We have a long ass trip
to Virginia to make up that show we had to cancel early on due to Sharon’s
illness, we said goodbye to our friends and started heading out to Virginia,
I really had a great time in Indy, props to the people and hopefully we
will see you again really soon!!!

Aug 14th
somewhere outside D.C.

Awoke at the holiday inn just outside of d.c. our
new driver Doug was crashed until 1:00 then I can run up and grab a much
needed shower, after my shower, myself, migwell Chris, and Jason decided
to head over to the mall across the street, we started walking and then
we realized we needed to grab a shuttle over, walked around the mall, checked
out the record store, got some food at the food court, its nice having
these days off to sleep in, shower and all of that s***! We hit the playstation
store and THERE IT WAS!!!!! MADDEN 2003 HOLY s***!!! I could not believe
it!!, you have to understand how much we play madden football on the road,
its how we pass our time when bored, so to have the new madden was just
insane, I could not wait to tell the others!!!, I also grabbed tiger woods
golf as well. we headed back to the bus and we put the madden game in,
started playing for just a short time, and one of our friends from the
tour called from the other holiday inn across town, she called Chris, he
yelled out hey man pause the game, and then he dropped a f***ing BOMB!!
Dave from Drowning pool was dead???? DEAD??? WHAT!!!!! T hey had literally
just found him on the bus, he had been sleeping, and they wondered why
he was not waking, so they tried to wake him and he was not responding,
this is f***ing HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE!! We were stunned!!! we had just
been partying together 12 some odd hours ago??? he seemed perfectly fine,
I just watched him rock the f***ing house hours ago, how could that be
true, the news was coming from the tour, so it had not even been reported
to MTV or anyone to confirm it for sure!! we soon found out it was true,
one of the coolest people we had met out here and now he was gone!!!
s*** he was only 30 yrs old, I watched him and zack
wylde talk for 20 minutes yesterday, how could this happen, it really moved
me man, I just cannot imagine what happened, we tried to find out what
hospital he was at, but then thought the band must need some space, we
were so f***ed up by it that we of course put the game away and just thought
about that s*** for a few hours, we heard the show in Virginia might be
cancelled, we did not know what to do it was about 9:00 now, we decided
to go have some sushi and sulk!!! this s*** is wayyy to close for comfort!!!
I have to end this right here cause, I just cannot believe this happened!!!!!!!

Show day
Bristol, Virginia(aug 15th)

well as you can see we played today, I woke up feeling
some tremendous emotion man, I had mixed feelings about playing today,
I know from the 5 weeks of hanging out with Dave Williams that he would
have wanted the party to continue, but I just felt so weird about soliciting
a cheer from the crowd, when we just lost one of our brothers out here,
we have all become very close, we eat together, travel together, rock the
countryside together, and now one of the main bands on this tour was just.....gone!
Ireally wanted to wear a drowning pool shirt on stage today, but they are
not selling them, so I wrote DW R.I.P. across both knuckles, Shawn drew
drowning pools log on Chris and himself, just to pay tribute in some small
way!! I was determined to make the motherf***ers light up today while on
stage, this would be a day to remember forever. We hit the stage and we
put dp posters over our skrims on the stage, and proceeded to f*** s***
up in Virginia, it was a truly inspired day of performances by EVERYONE!
we all really dug that guy man, he kept it real, and worked his ass off,
we wanted to say something while on stage and I remembered something he
always said on stage so I decided to say it for him on stage today, he
said IF YOU CAN’T SMOKE IT, DRINK IT, OR f*** IT, THEN IT AINT WORTH DOING!!!
the crowd of course responded in kind with a roar that I KNOW Dave heard,
we have to pull out early today, we hot the tents for the signings where
we would normally be doing our signings with drowning pool, met a lot of
really cool kids who were just hearing about it, spent about 2 hours at
the tents, met some real cool kids name rob and Travis, they helped us
out with our head before we had to split cause we have a 1200 mile ride
back to Somerset, Wisconsin, grabbed some slamming food from catering,
some great cookie brownies!! hitting the road!!!! cheers!!!

after a cool day off in Indy we hung out in Indy
with Otep, we have been traveling with them for the last week or so, its
good to travel with another band, to make sure you arrive alive, we went
to the mall, walked around for a bit, got some cookies from great American
cookie co with evil jay to take back to the bus smoked out in Indy and
then headed to Somerset, we awoke and it was rainy and cold as f***, I
have no winter clothing with me so I walked off the bus freezing my ass
of in the middle of august, that’s crazy I thought, very wet and nasty
out, plus we were in the middle of a f***ing field, literally a f***ing
field, Ozzy’s stage was right in the middle of a pasture no seats or anything!!!
we go on today at like 2:00 so we did not have to
rush around, which is nice, Jason’s folks are here again today, it was
good to see them again, they are very proud of there boy, and so are we,
Otep had a great show this morning and it seemed as though the crowd would
be festive today!! mushroomhead who has been cool as hell to us had a really
great show, it was a weird set up today cause it was the first time they
had 3 stages, we were on the second stage, so right after “the used” played
we were on.
I brought my video camera out on stage with me to
capture the crowd as we went on, they were loud and proud in Somerset,
it was f***ing cold out when we went on, but the sun was starting to shine
a bit and it turned out to be a good day, the security was a bunch of prison
guard a**holes, f***ing throwing kids down on there heads instead of helping
them down, and they were trying to throw kids back into the crowd, which
is was more dangerous than anything, , kids will fall on there heads if
thrown back into the pit, so any ways I yelled at the security from the
stage that this was THEIR show , and that they were gonna have fun and
security was GONNA be nice to them, I f***ed with them the whole show,
the crowd of course was down with that, we both had a great time, hit the
tents for a really long session of signings, met a lot of great people,
had a bunch of fun cause the weather was sooo nice at this point of the
day. after the signing me and migwell went over to catering for some dinner,
we had dinner with Robert from ozzy’s band and with actually a bunch of
people from the tour, it was the kind of event where all of the dressing
rooms were right by the mainstage, and so rob zombie and everyone was sort
of just chowing and chillin, very cool !!!
headed back to the bus and played some video golf
and chilled. we have another day off tomorrow but we have to drive to st
louis, which is about 600 miles, at the end of the day I saw chuck (otep’s
tour manager) and Otep herself walking over to catering, about one hour
later one of the carnie kids out here told me he saw chuck getting taken
away in handcuffs, so we started trying to confirm the story, I just knew
it was those a**hole security people, and sure enough what happened was
they saw otep standing by the stage watching the bands, and they did not
know she was in the band and they put there hands on her and that is not
cool with her at all so she resisted and when chuck saw this he jumped
on and next thing you know they were getting thrown to the ground and arrested
by about 10 guards, totally pushed otep’s head into the concrete, total
f***ing bulls***, the ozzfest people got them out within a few hours and
we were the f*** out of this place, these security people in Somerset can
kiss my ass, total disrespect for all the kids and the bands, we actually
earlier in the day got harassed by some security guy who was not actually
working the show that’s how unorganized they were, so any ways we bolted
and headed out for st louis, we go on at 1:45 in st louis and then we play
the mainstage in Kansas on Tuesday!! should be fun, oh yeah we heard that
Tommy lee was coming out on the tour to replace drowning pool, it should
be cool to kick it with Tommy, we are friends with his drummer “will” who
used to play with skrape, it will be good to see him again, but we are
still so very sad about Dave, he was buried today in Texas, we sent a huge
flower display to the funeral from neurotica!! glad to be alive out here
I tell you that much, glad to be alive, see you in st louis cheers!!!!
