Stone Pilots front man Scott Weiland was taken into custody on Friday Jan 15th in Los Angeles, charged with Violating probation, not unlawful possession of a controlled substance as believed earlier. 

There have been varied reports, one states that Weiland refused to give a urine sample. Another reports Weiland's probation officer told the arraigning judge that Weiland's drug test have been clean.
