Stone Pilots front man Scott
Weiland was taken into custody on Friday Jan 15th in Los Angeles, charged
with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Their is an outstanding warrant
for Weiland for a drug charge, it is unclear if it was due to this warrant
that Weiland was taken into custody, or if he has a new possession charge.
He is scheduled to appear in the L.A. Superior Court on Jan 20th.
Weiland is also supposed to appear in court in New York
on the 22nd for another Heroin related charge.
