Nickelback returns with Silver Side Up a more polished and commercial effort than their first US release The State. There is a lot to love here from the smash hit single "How You Remind Me" to the harder edged "Too Bad". The best track however is the first one "Never Again", a song about domestic abuse that channels Chad's anger on the subject so well that the rest of the album is kind of a come down. "Never Again" has it all and if any song should put this album over the top in sales it should be that one, simply Nickelback at their best! - Keavin Wiggins Managing Editor
