KISS outsold by Lauryn Hill and N-Sync.

The long awaited KISS album Psycho Circus was expected by many to land the top spot on the album sales charts last week, but unfortunately for the grease painted foursome, they were out done not once but twice.

Taking the top slot was Fugee Lauryn Hill's solo effort "the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" with 168,000 copies sold.

N-Sync once again landed in the Top 10 after 26 weeks on the charts, they captured the number two spot with 112,000 copies sold.

Kiss placed a respectable third with 110,000 copies of their "Psycho Circus" being sold in its first week of release.
