Van Halen
to issue exclusive video to web surfers
Van Halen fans
will get an Internet exclusive for the bands next video for the song
"Once"
The Video will
be released only through the bands web site. Avi, Quicktime and Real
Video versions will be available for download.
Two versions of
the video will be released. A scaled down version running around 4 minutes
and the full album length version clocking in at over 7 minutes and
40 seconds.
Video details:
Billed as an up
close and personal look at the band it included footage of the band
back stage preparing for a show and then leads into the live performance.
The video was originally
to be released traditionally but the record company pulled the plug.
The band wanted to give the fans a look at the video so it was decided
that it would be released on the bands web site.
