Billy Corgan, Steve Stevens,  Rick Nielsen, and James Young of Styx to appear on US Version of Enuff Z'nuff's new album Paraphernalia
Chicago Rock veterans from bands like the Smashing Pumpkins, Styx, and Cheap Trick have laid down tracks for the new Enuff Z'nuff album Paraphernalia.

The Album was released last year in Japan and has enjoyed major success there. What does Japan know that the US doesn't? For one that Enuff Z'nuff is a serious Rock n Roll band, not to be confused with Glam metal bands like Faster Pussycat and Pretty Boy Floyd.

When Enuff Z'nuff first hit the US airwaves and MTV their videos portrayed the band as glam, most artist of the time aspired for that look. although bands like Motley Crue and even Ozzy Osbourne who once went for the Glam image easily shook off the image and moved on to other things. Enuff Z'nuff unfortunately has been stuck with the label, despite the fact that their music is anything but glam.

Enuff Z'nuff bassist Chip Z'nuff quips "When you put a cd in you don't see makeup, you hear music." Once the glam label was stuck on the band they quickly toned down their image.

Paraphernalia will be the bands 9th album released in the US since 1989.  Paraphernalia will be in US Stores on April 20th on the Spitfire/ADA label. The band recently parted ways with Mayhem records, and hopes Spitfire will do a better job of promoting the band.

The track listing for the US version will also differ from the Japanese release. The Cheap Trick cover of Everything Works has been re-recorded with Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins lending his chops to the track. The US version of the  album will also feature two new songs  No Place To Go, and Save me.

Steve Stevens, Rick Nielsen, and James Young of Styx also laid down tracks for Paraphernalia.

Perhaps once this album hits the US shores with aid of stars like Corgan, Young, Nielsen, and Stevens people will put away any preconceived notion of who Enuff Z'nuff is and give the music a listen. Only then will they discover that they have been missing out on one of the best Rock bands of the 90's.
