Not content to stay out of the news, Marilyn Manson is back in the headlines once more. This time for having his body guards beat up an editor of Spin Magazine.

The abused music editor Craig Marks claims Manson ordered his body guards to beat him following a concert in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Apparently the orders where followed which resulted in Marks being choked, and tossed around the room, by Manson's goons. 

It all started innocently enough according to Marks. Marilyn reportedly asked Marks to join him back stage following the concert. Once Marks was back stage however Manson went on a rampage threatening the editor. Marks later in a press statement claimed that Manson told him the following  "He said, 'You know I can kill you, your family and everyone you know' ".  The beating followed and once Manson's thugs were done Marilyn reportedly told Marks "that's what you get for disrespecting me".

Marks filed a former complaint with the NYPD charging Manson with Assault and Harassment. 

No formal comment from Manson on the charges. And no motivation for the beating has surfaced.
