Toad the Wet Sprocket front man goes solo.

Rocktropolis reports that Glen Phillips the lead singer of the now defunct Toad the Wet Sprocket has signed on to appear solo as part of the ASCAP artist show case to take place in L.A. on August 13th. 

It is not known if Phillips, who will perform acoustically,  will be playing new material or stick to the Standard Toad the wet Sprocket numbers.
