Lilith Fair '99!
The highly successful music festival started by Sarah McLachlan to focus women in music and womens issues will return in the summer of 1999. This is the third outing for the tour which has made a name for itself by providing diverse musical groups as well as giving charities a venue to reach out to music fans. Organizers have announced that just like last year $1 from all ticket sales will be given to local non-profit organizations. 

This years artist line up is the most diverse yet, featuring rock, alternative, punk, hip hop, country, pop and R&B performers. Concert goers we be able to see Sarah McLachlan, Shawn Colvin,  Me'Shell Ndegocello, the Pretenders, the Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow,Bif Naked, Mya, Marina McBride, Deborah Cox, Monica, Kelly Willis,  Beth Orton, Indigo Girls, Queen Latifah, Luscious Jackson, Cibo Matto, Aimee Mann, Bijou Phillips and other as yet un named performers. The  tour kicks off in Vancouver on July 8th and will conclude on August 31st in Edmonton.

This is supposed to be the final outing for this tour, so if you missed it the past you will surely want to go this summer. With that in mind here are the dates and venues.
