Wow ... what can I say? This is some seriously weird stuff! Fast Eddie's second full-length is a schizophrenic roller coaster ride through so many styles it must be heard to be believed. At times Teen Sensation is vaguely reminiscent of Weird Al due to the liberal helping of humor that infuses their songs. Stylistically they freely juxtapose death metal, blues, polka (yes ... *polka*), and alternative rock... believe me, if ever there was a band that fit the overused alternative label then this here is it! There is almost nothing else that is this crazy, this ambitious, this cartoonish.
The campiness and complexity may get on your nerves at times and may (sadly) limit listenability but you have to give them props - Fast Eddie is a unique band and they are worth checking out if you are in the mood for something completely different. My only real complaint is that some of the song sections would have made good songs in their own right had they been drawn out more.
Don't take this too seriously - just enjoy it.
