Disciple - Rise Up Review
by Dan Cappello

.
Awesome! If I were to use one word to describe this band and this album it would be awesome. I have gotten easily four mind blowing hard rock albums this month alone, and this album is definitely one the best one.

They blend ripping hard rock with great vocals. The lyrics are clear and gripping. Lines like "We've been waiting so long. For this moment all of our lives." can easily be touched and related to all kinds of people. It is album that combines loud hard rock with everyday life. The album is solid rock from tracks one to fourteen, with two amazing rock ballads in the mix. There is no weakness in the album what so ever. Any young hard rock band looking for inspiration may want to give these guys a listen so they know what slammin hard rock has to sound like.

I said it when I wrote the Breaking Point review and I will say it again, Hard Rock Is Back! No screaming and growling in this album. Just straight edged, melodic hard rock. If you have never heard of them before then get your ass out there and buy this record. This album should be in everyone's CD player this summer.
