Razorwire - A Bullet Called Pride Review
by Tim Ferrell

.
Razorwire's second CD A Bullet Called Pride (released on Psychophonic - their own independent label) is a schizophrenic hodgepodge of rap, metal, hardcore, and nu-metal that just comes across as tired and contrived. Comparisons to Rage Against The Machine, Downset, and countless other nu-metal/rapcore bamds abound... and it leaves you wondering what of themselves Razorwire is actually bringing to the mix... sounds mostly like they are just parroting the pioneers that came before them.

Well, if you are into rapcore/nu-metal then this is one to check out but I can't say for sure that you'd like it - even as a fan of the genre you might find it to derivative and clichéd. There *are* some good riffs here and the lyrics aren't horrible but in the end there is just very little that really stands out.
